Heavy machinery transport

Bobcat, excavator and vehicle transport by barge — up to 4,500kg.

Get your machine to a waterfront or island worksite without the trip around by road. Drive-on, drive-off via the landing craft's bow ramp.

Builders, landscapers, civil contractors and homeowners use us to land mini-excavators, bobcats, skid steers, utes and vans on sites that can't be reached by road. We pick up from your yard or site, run the water leg, and land you on the bank ready to work.

Capacity is 4,500kg total across vehicle and load. We plan tide windows so your machine drives off onto firm ground, not soft sand.

Common questions

What's the biggest machine you can move by barge?+

Up to 4,500kg total — that covers most bobcats, mini-excavators, skid steers, utes, vans and small tipper trucks. Heavier or oversized loads on request.

Is loading drive-on / drive-off?+

Yes. The bow ramp lowers onto the bank, jetty or beach so machines and vehicles can drive on and off under their own power. No crane required.

Do you transport excavators to islands?+

Yes — we regularly move mini-excavators and bobcats to Scotland Island, Dangar Island, Cockatoo Island and other no-road-access island sites for builders and landscapers.

Can I send my operator on the barge with the machine?+

Yes. We can carry the operator and tools alongside the machine within capacity limits.
